Social media mistakes to avoid when trying to build a brand in others minds
Here are the following social media mistakes to avoid when going to build a brand of your product.
1. Avoid too Many Social Networks at-once
The research has proved that most of the businesses are trying to market and making their brand on the following social networks.
- Google Plus
- Tumbler
According to the facts and figures of We must have to keep in mind that there are more than 500 million users on Instagram, 1000 million WhatsApp, 853 million at QQ and almost over 100 million active users on Pinterest.
All I am trying to say that where you have to convey your message as fast as it is necessary, choose the right platform to market your brand. You can use WhatsApp, QQ and facebook messenger for fast conveying of your message.
If you have stuff with heavy images then you can use Instagram, Flicker, Google Plus, Facebook, and Pinterest.
But if your site is about giving professional advice, then Twitter and LinkedIn are your best bets.
Being more professionally conveying your brand and product in front of the world then the more sophisticated way is “an efficient use of Twitter and LinkedIn”
Let The Fanman Show put a quart into a pint pot, “whatever social network you are using, it must be capable of yielding the highest ROIs for the target”
What Should I Do?: market your brand at one or two social networks as accordance with the business need at the same time. The heavily use of all the network all along will remove your focus for the purpose you are using it.
Simply, first try to analyze the target audience where they spend time then choose that specific single network and build your connections.
It doesn’t mean that you leave other social network presence obviously you can use that but gradually completing handsome target audience at that specific network then go for the other
2. Negative feedback is common. You should never ignore it.
World is full of Drama, everyone has different opinion, it may be positive or negative, so expecting negative feedback is something, common, not to ignore.
Take an advantage of negative feedback rather than getting angry, I think it’s a great opportunity to know about where your business is standing in the market and how you respond about your brand worth a lot.
The person remaining outside the game will have a greater clarity about the game than the players play. What does it means?
It means the negative comment generates ideas so unlike other entrepreneurs, do not remove them from your head, give a greater focus and take all those negative situations as opportunities.
Because it may be possible if someone is saying the bitter truth and those unsuitable words may bring you towards better ends.
A wiser entrepreneur learns from all negative comments and responds them properly to show a well committed better customer service. If not so happen then count it a big big mistake and believe me your business is going towards decline
Advice:
- Never lose temper
- Always focus negative commenting.
- Note some logical negativity in commenting and respond them with more attention. I am not advising you to take all the comments so serious and try to considering and implementing some irrational and irrelevant ideas upon them rather than listen to them what is their view point? Is that relevant to your product improvement or not if yes then do that in your own way.
